The idea for Olderworkers.com.au came about as much through frustration as necessity. Having been unemployed and knowing the difficulties facing older workers Shane Higgins knew there were thousands upon thousands of mature age jobseekers and Grey Nomads across Australia keen to work, but just had to find that mature age friendly employer who would appreciate experience, life skills and a willingness for hardwork.
